Canemah School

A team of Portland educators wanted to bring (usually private) Waldorf-inspired education to the broader community. “Canemah” was an early Native American settlement in the eara. Our logo solutions evokes, canoe paddles, and the little flowers common known as Indian Paintbrush, and the form drawings that are part of the Waldorf curriculum.

The warm, welcoming website draws on the non-linear aesthetics common in the Waldorf movement. It deliberately includes visuals from other cultural traditions (Japanese ink painting) alongside typical Waldorf student work. A well-crafted navigation system provides easy access to extensive content for multiple audiences.
